The parents whose children attend kindergartens in Chisinau are warned not to collect money for purchasing presents in early education institutions on the occasion of the winter holidays. If they know about such cases, they should report them to the police. Such a call was made by deputy mayor of Chisinau Angela Cutasevici, IPN reports.

“An order banning the collection of funds was made. Each manager is responsible and is informed about the penalties they face if money is collected informally in the period,” Angela Cutasevici stated in the December 21 meeting of officials of municipal services.

On the occasion of the winter holidays, the municipality provided over 30,000 presents (boxes with candies) to kindergarten children. They were already distributed to the districts of Chisinau. The presents were bought at a cost of 766,000 lei.
