The Border Police announced that the Palanca – Maiaki-Udobnoe border crossing point will be closed in the period between October 1 and 11 in connection with repair works that will be performed on the bridge in the Ukrainian village Maiaki, IPN reports.

Such a decision was taken following a request from the Ukrainian border authorities. The travelers will be redirected to the border crossing point “Udobnoe”, while the freight trucks will cross the border through the Tudora-Starokazachyie checkpoint.

The authorities call on the participants in the transfrontier traffic that go or cross Ukraine through the Palanca border crossing point to show understanding and comply with the travelling modifications.
