The owner of the restaurant La Sarkis located in the capital city was found dead on Friday evening. According to the police, suicide is the main version considered. However, the investigation goes on, IPN reports.

The Armenian community in the Republic of Moldova came with a message of condolences after the death of the restaurant owner who was of Armenian origin.

"This tragic loss was due to an accident caused by the improper handling of a firearm. We offer our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. In these difficult moments, we stand by you in pain," reads the community's message.
