The overdue subsidies were paid to 1 120 agricultural producers, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry has said. A sum of over 18 million lei was used for the purpose, IPN reports.

According to a press release of the Ministry, 465 farmers got the overdue subsidies, to the total value of 6 million lei, this week. A number of 2 525 requests are yet to be satisfied.

The payment of the overdue subsidies for 2015 started last week.
