Over 300 enterprises take part in sixth national exhibition “Made in Moldova”
Starting February 7, 320 enterprises in Moldova will participate in the sixth national exhibition “Made in Moldova”, a six-day event at “Moldoexpo” IEC. It is a record number of participants in the exhibition, compared with recent years. Up-to-date achievements will be exhibited by companies from 16 raions, as well as from Chisinau and Balti, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The agenda of the current edition comprises a wide range of activities, including seminars and roundtables attended by businessmen, focused on the present business related topics. The subjects tackled during these meetings will aim at investment state policy in the context of the Strategy for attracting investments and promoting export, prospects of developing industry in Moldova, benefits of commercial preferences in trade with UE, diversification of markets, implementation of scientific technologies, promotion of Moldova’s external image.
Visitors will have the opportunity to get familiar with the products of 126 industrial enterprises, 38 wine companies, 70 agriculture and food companies, IT, technical and scientific achievements of the institutions of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, services of higher education institutions etc. The pavilion no. 2 of “Moldexpo” International Exhibition Centre will host presentations of industrial goods, technical and scientific services and achievements. The Central pavilion will provide with space agriculture and food companies.
The exhibition will bring together renowned trademarks such as “Milestii Mici”, “Cricova”, “Barza Alba”, “Vinuri-Ialoveni”, “Franzeluta”, “Zorile”, “Floare-Carpet”, “Efes Vitanta Moldova Brewery”, “Alfa-Nistru”, “Topaz”, “Carmez”, “Nord-Mobila”, “Viorica-Cosmetic” etc.
A career fair will be held by the National Agency of Labour Force Employment during the exhibition, where 300 companies will offer about 4000 jobs.
Also, there will be organised roundtables and seminars focused on actual business issues and economy development. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has worked out a cultural programme which includes 8 concerts of the fanfares from raions.
Chambers of Commerce and Industry from Romania, Ukraine, Belarus, Italy, Turkey, as well as leaders of foreign commercial-economic missions accredited in Moldova confirmed their participation with collective stands.
The exhibition will be completed with the awarding of the winners of the contests “The Best Taxpayer of the Year” and “The Trademark of the Year”, on February 9, at the Republic’s Palace.
