Over 29% of voters present at the elections from Gagauzia
29.6% of the total number of voters voted at 13.00 in the elections that take place in Gagauzia, the Central Electoral Commission from Gagauzia announced.
In order to validate the elections, at least one third of voters must come to elections.
Paul Strutzescu, the chairman of the League for Human Rights Protection of Moldova, organisation that observes the elections told Info-Prim Neo that on the whole the situation is calm and no incidents that would conduct to the failure of the elections occurred.
Among the violations ascertained by the representatives of the organisation are the high number of voters who vote on supplementary lists, fact that proves that the electoral authorities from the regions did not conclude the lists after the first poll and there are cases when voting is allowed on the base of the soviet-type passport and expired ones, the cited source stated.
Mihai Formuzal, the mayor of Ciadar-Lunga and Nicolae Dudoglo – the mayor of Comrat, who gained the most votes at the elections that took place on December 10, participate in the second tour of elections.
