More than 1,000 orphans and children from socially deprived families will be able to see the performance “Autumn harmonies” staged by the Cultural Society ”Vatra”. The organizers aim to create happy moments for the children and to collect funds that will be later donated to the Mother and Child Institute.
“We set a major goal – to bring smiles on the faces of these children who are sadder than we,” said the head of the Cultural Society ”Vatra” Vlad Negruzzi, who has organized the concert.
In a news conference at IPN, Vlad Negruzzi said the performance will involve such famous national singers as Victoria Lungu, Olga Ciolacu, Alexandru Lozanciuc, Laurentiu Popescu, Aliona Triboi, and Luciana Spanu as well as children stars. It will be a debut for some of them.
Emeritus Artist Valentin Delinschi said that he has taken part in numerous concerts together with “Vatra”. “It is a cultural society that during many years has brought the beauty onto the stage and gathered together the best talents so as to bring joy to those who are sadder than we,” he stated.
The leader of the initiative group “Moldova’s Friends” Alexandru Cauia said that a platform of volunteers was launched not long ago. Active people with initiative joined prieteni.md and helped organize this concert.
According to the organizers, a few tickets are yet on sale. The price is 90 lei. Entrance for children in need is free of charge. Free tickets were already distributed to about 1,500 children from boarding schools, placement centers and the complex “Orfeu”.
The charity concert will take place at the National Palace “Nicolae Sulac” on November 7, starting at 6pm.
