The process of connecting consumers to the centralized heating system in Chisinau, on request, is in full swing. So far, over 1,000 buildings have been connected to the heat supply, IPN reports, with reference to Termoelectrica.

This way, over 140 kindergartens, over 100 schools, more than 20 universities, over 40 health facilities, 40 private homes, about 550 apartment buildings and 130 business entities are now supplied with heat.

Termoelectrica noted it is making effort, together with the responsible bodies, to ensure all the consumers are supplied with heat in an appropriate way, given that the thermoelectric plant CET Source I uses alternative fuel (fuel oil) instead of natural gas, as the Commission on Emergencies dictated.
