The local public authorities of the capital will allocate over 1 million lei for solving the issue of homeless dogs in the municipality, the sources approved by the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) at the last meeting. According to the decision, out of the total amount of 1,8 million lei, for implementing the program, the biggest part - 1,152 million lei – will be provided for catching homeless dogs and collecting their bodies. The Service «Necropola de animale» within the Department «Autosalubritate» is to perform the works. At the same time, 624,000 lei will be allotted for cleaning and repairing the public WCs, and for maintaining the city clock – 24,000 lei. „Autosalubritate” Department is to perform these works as well.
