The summer cinema in the Butoiaș Park has been rehabilitated. The project involved revamping the load-bearing walls and applying murals, in addition to installing new seats, screen scaffolding and a canopy structure.

Every Friday, at 8:30 p.m., the Chisinau City Hall and the Municipal Youth Center Team will offer screenings in the Butoiaș summer cinema, and on Saturdays at the same time in Sarmizegetusa Park, in Botanica sector. Admission is free.

The cinema renovation is part of a broader rehabilitation effort targeting the Butoiaș Park. In recent years, new walkways have been created and existing ones have been renovated, and street lighting with video surveillance systems have been installed. Also, urban furniture has been added, and a fitness and workout area, and a playground for children have been set up.
