OSCE Chairperson-in-Office makes call for dialogue for overcoming political crisis in Moldova

OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Slovakia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Miroslav Lajčák on June 10 called on all political forces in the Republic of Moldova to overcome the current political crisis through dialogue, acting on the basis of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and the respect for democratic principles and the rule of law, IPN reports.

“The OSCE Chairmanship is following the political crisis in the Republic of Moldova with great concern. The citizens of the Republic of Moldova need a political solution to the current crisis and stability to ensure the European path of the country,” Lajčák said. “Peaceful dialogue, democracy and rule of law are key for preventing tensions from escalating,” he added.
