The police commissioner of Orhei district Oleg Cociuc, the deputy commissioner and a policeman involved in the murder committed four days ago were dismissed by order of Minister of the Interior Alexei Roibu, Info-Prim Neo reports. The information was confirmed by the minister. Alexei Roibu said that different irregularities were identified in the work of the Orhei Police Commissariat, but did not specify if the discharged commissioner had something to do with the murder of Alexei Veretka. The crime was committed near a restaurant in Orhei in the evening of April 28. Alexei Veretka, 42, was shot to death. Another man, who is a former police officer, was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition.
