The November 4 sitting of officials of the municipal services of Chisinau was interrupted after councilor Victor Gurau abusively occupied the rostrum in the meeting hall, IPN reports.

This way the councilor protested against the initiation of construction works at 44 Pushkin St in Chisinau. He accused the mayor of corruption and non-professionalism.

Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca said the given issue is in the meeting’s agenda and is to be examined, but the councilor didn’t want to wait for the time when the subject was to be discussed and occupied the rostrum.

In reaction, the mayor closed the meeting and all the representatives of the municipal services left the hall.
