One more victim of the accident that happened in Vatra town of Chisinau municipality on October 15, when a minibus running on route No. 171 collided head-on with a truck, died in the hospital. The driver of the minibus hasn’t been yet discharged from the hospital.

Petru Cravet, spokesman for the National Emergency Medicine Center, has told IPN that the man aged 68, who was a passenger of the minibus, suffered a severe head injury and was admitted to the reanimatology section. He was operated, but could not be saved.

The minibus and the truck collided at the intersection of the streets Calea Iesilor and Ghidighici. The truck driver and a passenger of the minibus died on the spot. Two men and two men suffered injuries and were hospitalized.
