One more party submits documents to CEC, to be under No. 7 on ballot

The Professionals Movement “Speranţa – Nadejda” (“Hope”) filed the documents to the Central Election Commission for being registered as a runner in the July 11 snap parliamentary elections, IPN reports.

As only one candidate submitted the required documents on February 18, the electoral authority assigned No. 7 on the ballot to it. It was thus decided that this party will be preliminarily put on the seventh place on the ballot.

The CEC will examine the documents during seven days and will decide whether to register the party as an election contender or not.

On the first day of submissions, the CEC received the documents from six candidates. As a result of the May 14 draw, it was decided that the order of the contenders on the ballot will be as follows:

1. Building Europe at Home Party
2. Common Action Civic Congress Party
3. Electoral Bloc “Renato Usatîi”
4. Shor Party
5. Party of Action and Solidarity
6. Electoral Bloc of the Communists and the Socialists.

The candidates can file documents until June 11, which is not later than 30 days before the election day. The election campaign for each candidate starts when they are registered as election runners.
