The leaders of the national futsal championship scored victories in the eighth stage of the competition. Thus, Progres and Olimpia distanced themselves from the third-ranked Atletico, IPN reports.

The two matches of the eighth stage were played in the hall of the sports club Alexia in Chisinau. Olimpia Balti won against Tarsus by 6-5, with Oleg Hiloti and Andrei Negara scoring by two goals for the winner. In the encounter between Progres and Socol, the current champion met with no difficulties and easily won the game by 8-3. The hero of the match was the coach of Progres Dorin Coceban, who scored three goals.

Progres are now seven points ahead of Olimpia. Atletico and Tarsus come next, while Socol have zero points. In the next round, Socol meet Tarsus, while Olimpia - Atletico.
