Olga Nicolenco: Picture of country’s future is gloomy

The political situation makes us formulate very gloomy forecasts, including about the possible abolition of the Association Agreement with the EU and reintroduction of visas for trips in EU, stated political analyst  Olga Nicolenco. “We should bid farewell to the Strelet Government and prepare for a government of the left. The PLDM and PL should get ready to move to the opposition,” Nicolenco said in the talk show “Pahomi” on Realitatea TV channel, IPN reports.

The expert considers that early parliamentary elections are possible. “Early parliamentary elections and even early mayoral elections in Chisinau could take place. Astronomers say there will be several dark days in November. This darkness already fell in Moldova and will probably last,” stated Nicolenco.

As to the arrest of former Premier Vlad Filat, Nicolenco said this is political revenge. “If he is to blame, he must answer. After his arrest, we have waited for other arrests, but these are late or will probably not be made already. Filat knows a lot and had the occasion of telling them from the Parliament’s rostrum or at least when he came to the hearing of the Appeals Court. But he didn’t do it because he is probably holding negotiations,” said the expert
