PSL deputy Oleg Serebrian requested on Thursday, 2 March information from the minister of foreign affairs and European integration, Andrei Stratan, regarding the education of diplomats of the diplomatic missions and within the central office of MAEIE. In a letter addressed to minister Stratan, Serebrian requires information regarding the number of employees of diplomatic missions and consulates, as well of those of the central office of MAEIE who have diplomatic education, as well as the number of those who do not have such education. It was required as well the number of diplomats speaking an international language – English, French, German or Spanish and of those who do not speak any of them. Serebrian said that he has information regarding the violation of the term of 3 of being in a diplomatic mission in case of certain employees and required data and explanations in this sense. „This information was requested previously by reporters, but any answer was givens. I hope to get clear this situation,” Serebrian said.
