Oleg Hohlov from Balti town has become a world muaythai champion at the competition in Thailand, IPN reports.
”The struggle for the title of world champion was difficult as I was to win the last three matches to come into possession of the golden belt. In the final, I fought against an athlete from Pakistan, who was left-handed and it was hard to compete with him. But I beat him by the score,” Oleg Hohlov stated for IPN.
Hohlov has improved his score compared with the previous World Championships, when he finished third. He trained under the guidance of his father Igor Hohlov. In his career, Oleg also practiced boxing, kickboxing and wrestling.
