Oleg Efrim says he will abandon seat of Reform Justice Council deputy head on condition

Minister of Justice Oleg Efrim has said he will renounce the post of deputy head of the National Council for the Reform of the Legal System if the second deputy head – Deputy Speaker Vlad Plahotniuc – is not dismissed, Info-Prim Neo reports. Oleg Efrim told the press that if Vlad Plahotniuc remains deputy head, he will abandon the seat of deputy head of the Council and will serve as ordinary member. He said he is not against if leaving the post of deputy head, Vlad Plahotniuc will remain an ordinary member. The minister said that the Council’s administration should also include representatives of civil society. The Council will have a meeting at the Palace of the Republic on July 22 at 3pm.
