The National Securities Commission (NSC) approved, this week, the decision on resuming the validity of the license of a brokers’ company “Oldex” JSC which offers the right to perform professional activity on the securities market. The validity of the broker license held by JSC “Oldex” was suspended for a period of 3 months via a decision of NSC from May 18, 2006, after it was found out that this company was violating the legislation while mediating the transactions with the shares of “Ciment” JSC in the spring of 2006. The validity of the license was resumed in light of the fact that the damage caused to its clients as a result of these actions was given repaid. This fact was confirmed by the Center for Combating Economic Crime and Corruption which investigated the case.
