As of next week, the officials will visit the veterans of World War II at home following a decision taken by the senior administration in connection with the epidemiological situation in the country, IPN reports.

In the program “President Responds”, Igor Dodon said the veterans on May 9 will not take part in the Victory March and in the festive concert dedicated to the Victory Day so as not to expose themselves to the danger of infection. The other planned activities related to this holiday will be carried out, including the repair of the memorial complex. On May 9, the senior state officials will lay flowers at monuments.

The Victory March and the festive concert dedicated to the Victory Day were transferred to August 24.
