Observers accredited for first round of voting can work at runoff too

The observers accredited for the first round of the presidential elections of November 1 can continue work at the runoff vote set for November 15.

The Central Election Commission said applications to accredit new observers can be field to the CEC or district electoral councils. The deadline for submissions is November 7, IPN reports.

For the November 1 presidential elections, the CEC accredited 2,220 observers, 1,911 of whom were national observers, while 309 were international observers.
