November new local elections will cost over 100,000 lei
The new local elections of November 13 will cost more than 100,000 lei. They will be held in Falesti town and in Hanasenii Noi village of Leova district. The expenditure estimate was approved by the Central Election Commission (CEC) in a meeting on October 18, Info-Prim Neo reports.
CEC chairman Iurie Ciocan said the projected sum covers the costs that will be incurred by the central electoral authority and the district electoral councils and electoral bureaus.
The term in office of the mayor of Falesti expired earlier owing to the incompatibility of the positions held, while the mayor of Hanasenii Noi resigned from post.
