The Prosecutor General’s Office asks to lift the parliamentary immunity of Ilan Șor. A number of applications to this effect were read in Parliament by Speaker Igor Grosu, IPN reports.
By nine requests, the prosecutors asked to lift the parliamentary immunity so as to detain, arrested, search and send to court Ilan Șor on a number of charges, such as large-scale swindle, money laundering, creation and management of a criminal organization, falsification of documents, appropriation and abuse of power.
The applications were transmitted to the Parliament’s commission for appointments and immunities.
