Nine Moldovan citizens, mostly women and children, last night returned safely to the Republic of Moldova from the conflict zone in Lebanon. The repatriation was made possible with the support of the IOM Missions to Lebanon and Moldova, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.
The Moldovan citizens were welcomed at the Chisinau International Airport by representatives of the Ministry and the IOM Moldova team, who provided assistance and information on how to access medical, psychological and social services, as well as transport to Chisinau and Criuleni.
