Nicu Popescu, Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, is on a visit to Brussels, the Ministry announced in a press release.
The official is expected to meet with Oliver Varhelyi, European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Katarína Mathernová, Deputy Director General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations, Michael Siebert, Director for Russia, Eastern Partnership, Central Asia, Regional Cooperation and OSCE from the European External Action Service, as well as other European officials.
During the visit, discussions will focus on intensification of the political dialogue with the European Union, preparations for the Association Council and the EU macro-financial assistance for the Republic of Moldova.
