Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Nicu Popescu will be paying working visits to Paris in France and to Valletta in Malta during June 13-16. Among the goals of the visit are to discuss the European agenda, to extend the bilateral dialogue and to stimulate Moldova’s accession to the EU, IPN reports.
On June 13, in Paris, Deputy Premier Popescu will meet with his French counterpart Catherine Colonna, who heads the Foreign Affairs Committee, Adviser to the Prime Minister for Europe Jean-Francois Rapin, Secretary General for European Affairs Emmanuel Puisais-Jauvin, and with other French officials and heads of international organizations, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European of Moldova.
While in Paris, Nicu Popescu will also have a meeting with representatives of the Moldovan diaspora in France. He will deliver a speech at a conference centering on the Moldovan-French relations in the presence of the President of the French National Assembly Yaël Braun-Pivet.
Also, the Moldovan official will pay his first official visit to Malta, where he will meet with Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade Ian Borg and a number of officials of the Maltese Government and Parliament.
