With 100% of the votes counted, the Comrat District Electoral Council announced that independent candidate Nicolai Dudoglo won the elections. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the Council’s head Fiodor Gaidarji said 57.5% of the electors in Comrat voted for Nicolai Dudoglo. Independent candidate Constantin Sibov comes second with 20.7% of the poll. The PLDM’s candidate Petru Vlah earned 8.2% of the ballot. Independent Vasile Croitor and the PDM’s candidate Petru Mavrodi garnered by 6.4% of the vote, while Leonid Dobrov, representing the Ecologist Party “Green Allaince”, gained less than 1% of the ballot. The results for the Comrat Municipal Council are as follows: the PCRM – four seats, the PDM – two seats, the PLDM – two seats, the PSD – one seat, the Labor Party – one seat, the Sociopolitical Movement “Ravnopravie” – one seat, the Electoral Block “Third Force” - one seat. These seats represent 44.4% of the vote. The other 55.6% of the ballot are shared by 15 independents.
