Moldova’s President Nicolae Timofti will pay an official visit to Turkey, at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gül. The visit will last for two days, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the presidential press service.

In Ankara, the head of state will have meetings with President Abdullah Gül, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Cemil Çiçek.

Nicolae Timofti will be accompanied by a delegation consisting of Minister of Culture Monica Babuc, lawmakers and presidential advisers.
