The post of secretary general of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection will be occupied by Dumitru Pîslaru, who, beyond the basic responsibilities, will be responsible for accelerating the effort to digitize the sector and will coordinate the reform of the National Council for Determining Disability. The designation was approved by the Cabinet on Wednesday, IPN reports.
Mihai-Gabriel Ciobanu was appointed secretary of state of the same ministry. He will be responsible for advancing the effort to reduce informal labor in the Republic of Moldova. He will also coordinate the implementation of the one-stop shop in the field of social services provision.
"Both Mr. Pîslaru and Mr. Ciobanu came from the diaspora to serve their country and I want to thank them for this," noted Minister Alexei Buzu.
Also, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the dismissal of Marian Pocaznoi from the position of deputy director general of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology as of February 5, in connection with the expiration of his term. Denis Sitari, who currently heads a division at the Agency, was appointed in his place. The term of office is of five years.
