The Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family will submit a draft decision concerning the minimum security and health norms as regards work at the monitor to the Government. If the regulations are approved, the work program of the people working at the monitor could be reduced, IPN reports.
Employers will be obliged to assess the security and heath conditions of employees, especially the risks to health, including sight.
The employers will have to plan the work of the employees so that daily work at a monitor does not exceed six hours and is interrupted regularly, at intervals not longer than 45 minutes, by breaks or shifts, so as to reduce overload.
According to the authors, the bill is put forward in a move to harmonize the national legislation with the European one.
The employees will be entitled to a test on sight. If the results of the test are negative, the employees will be supplied with special correction devices, while the costs incurred will be fully covered by the employer.
