Two new playgrounds were built in Râșcani Park of the capital city. The works to put together the third playground are close to completion.
Contacted by IPN for details, Irina Boțu, communicator of the General Public Amenities Division, said the three playgrounds were set up at the request of the Râșcani district head’s office as part of the project to modernize the park.
The new playgrounds consist of slides, swings, figurines and other items. “These are modern playgrounds for children to enjoy themselves. In fact, we know that a lot of children visit this park and we therefore decided to grant the request of the Râșcani district head’s office,” stated Irina Boțu.
Two fitness/workout grounds were earlier set up in Rîșcani Park. One of these grounds provides wheelchair access.
The General Public Amenities Division launched the project to put up 30 playgrounds in yards of apartment buildings in Chisinau. The first playground has been built at 12 Ciocana St. The addresses will be chosen depending on the requests made by residents of Chisinau.
