Next week, the new OSCE Chairman in Office, Finnish Foreign Minister Ilkka Kanerva, will make a visit to Moldova, the Organisation’s official site announced. Minister Kanerva has stated that besides the question of Kosovo and the CFE Treaty, the frozen conflicts in the region will be one of the priorities of the Finnish OSCE Chairmanship. Finland took over the one-year Chairmanship of the Organisation on 1 January, succeeding Spain. Greece will follow in 2009.
