The head of the executive noted that the portfolio of infrastructure and regional development will be assumed by Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Bolea, who is to continue the ongoing projects. Among the priorities in this area are the revitalization of the construction sector, the financial and operational restructuring of Moldova’s Railway and the improvement of the selection and awarding of local development projects.

The institution is to improve communication with associations and promote the industrialization of the agricultural sector. In this regard, Premier Recean stressed the importance of developing modern and competitive agriculture, but also of strengthening the Ministry's capacities.

"The consultation process does not stop here. Discussions and changes will continue for the good of our country and the people. It is necessary to speed things up in particular areas, and in others to do them differently," said the official.

The designated ministers will take the oath of office in the presence of President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean, starting at 10:00 a.m.
