New govt appointments
The Government has appointed Natalia Solcan as Moldova's Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to replace incumbent Finance Minister Mariana Durlesteanu, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Prior to the appointment Natalia Solcan served as head of the European Integration Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
At the same Government meeting on Wednesday, June 11, current Moldova's Ambassador to Italy Gheorghe Rusnac has been given concurrent accreditation to Malta.
Nicolae Taran has been named deputy director of the Agrindustrial Agency Moldova-Vin. Previously he worked with the Vine and Wine National Institute. Taran holds numerous patents for national and international award-winning wines.
Deputy director of the Construction and Territorial Development Agency Anatolie Turcan has been discharged from office in connection with the reorganization of the institution.
For the same reason, the Cabinet discharged Victor Cuhal from the post of deputy director of the Metrology and Standardization Ministry.
