The Program of the new Government has been published on the institution’s official website. The document states that the Government will resume Moldova’s European integration course, "undermined by the oligarchic government", and will work towards the real implementation of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement, which is also the basis for implemented reforms, IPN reports.

"First of all, this means implementing the necessary policy framework to take the country out of oligarchic captivity, restore democracy, and fight corruption and the corrupted. At the same time, the Government has committed to identify the solutions needed to support the social initiatives on indexation of pensions and establishment of a maternity capital – a commitment reflected in this Program."

Among the priorities announced by the executive are the release of the state from captivity and  strengthening institutional independence, especially in the area of justice. This is to be achieved by ensuring an elective democracy, free media, cooperation with civil society, independent justice, as well as dialogue towards state reunification.

This year, the Government aims to bring the country out of isolation and urgently relaunch the economy by improving relations with foreign partners, restoring external aid and judicious administration of public finances, as well as demonopolizing the branches of economy. The Executive will create conditions for true wellbeing and quality of life by taking urgent anti-poverty measures, providing healthcare, education and social services at required standards, the document also mentions.

Through the ACUM Bloc and the PSRM MPs vote from June 8, the Parliament granted the Government led by Maia Sandu a vote of confidence. In her speech before the vote, Maia Sandu presented three priorities for her Government. The priorities mentioned by the PAS leader are: "to release the Republic of Moldova from captivity, to address the country’s international isolation, and create conditions to truly ensure people’s wellbeing.”
