The new agreement on the creation of a parliamentary majority will contain provisions that will enable the Prime Minister to manage the internal affairs and the budget autonomously. At the same time, the parties should interrupt the relation with the ministers they delegated to work in the executive and allow them to work independently. Such opinions were stated by invitees to the program “Fabrika” produced by PublikaTV channel, IPN reports.

Political analyst Ion Tabarta said that depoliticization will be an important point in the future agreement. The state institutions should be delimited from the ruling parties. “It’s not normal for the Premier not to have leverage over ministers. There should be a clear functioning mechanism. If a minister does not achieve the expected results, the Premier should be able to replace him/her. Dirk Schuebel (Head of the EU Delegation to Moldova – e.n.) said clearly: Moldova’s problem is that there are more party people, than statesmen,” stated the analyst.

Ion Tabarta also said the political parties that want to form a new government should work out a new strategy. The Premier must state his opinion on how the Cabinet should work and even propose new ministries.

Political analyst Roman Mihaes said the PLDM aims to conclude a technical agreement and does not want to make political commitments. “The old variant of the agreement contained the clause that the ruling parties cannot vote with the Communists. Now they want to vote in a new Government and then to vote depending on the circumstances. This accord should stipulate obligations for the parliamentary majority,” he stated.

According to him, there should be certainty that the parliamentary majority has a course and a program. The political aspect is the most important. Thus, the parliamentary majority must pledge not to adopt laws together with the opposition.
