Ion Dodon has been confirmed by the Government as the new general director of the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM).

Dodon holds a license in law and a master’s degree in public administration. His career includes various positions in the central public administration, in particular at the Ministry of Health, where he was previously state secretary. He also practiced law and didactic activity.

During the same Government meeting, Felicia Bechtold has been appointed as state secretary at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. A workforce economist, Bechtold worked in the Oregon Unemployment Department before accepting the job at the Ministry.

Also, the cabinet accepted the resignation of Adrian Ermurachi from the post of the Government’s deputy secretary.
