The second call for applications to provide payments in advance to female entrepreneurs and young farmers for investment projects for 2018 is opened on September 17, IPN reports.

According to the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture, there will be accepted project proposals designed to stimulate investment in the production of fruit and vegetables on protected areas, creation and modernization of multiannual plantations, equipment and technological renovation of animal farms, including the purchase of purebred animals and keeping of the stock, and development of postharvest and processing infrastructure.

Applications can be submitted by November 14.

The financial support will represent at most 65% of the value of costs, but not more than 1 million lei. The first tranche of the subsidy will be 75% of its value and will be paid on condition that the provision co-financing of 35% of the costs by the beneficiary is confirmed. The second tranche of 25% of the value of the subsidy will be offered based on an application when the investment object is put into operation.

A sum of 45 million lei was allocated for implementing the system for providing payments in advance from the National Agriculture and Rural Development Fund for 2018.
