The Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova Paun Rohova presented copies of the credentials to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, IPN reports.
The documents were received by the secretary of state of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sergiu Mihov. During the discussions, the two interlocutors conferred on the current state and prospects of the bilateral relations between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, with emphasis on the importance of strengthening the political-diplomatic dialogue and sectoral cooperation.
Also on Monday, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a meeting with Ambassador Paun Rohovei, wishing the Ukrainian diplomat success in fulfilling his duties in Chisinau. He assured him of the full support of the Moldovan authorities.
On the third anniversary of the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, Minister Mihai Popsoi sent a message of solidarity and support for the Ukrainian people, stressing the Republic of Moldova's firm commitment to peace, freedom and security.
In the same connection, the minister reiterated Moldova's support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
