The levee in Nemteni village will be reconstructed. The works will start tomorrow morning. The levee will be reinforced with stones and then stopped up with clay and earth. Alexei Armas, the head of the Ministry of the Interior’s Logistics Division, told a news conference the works will be completed in three or four days if the necessary units of transport and materials are on hand, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Alexei Armas, the levee yielded because it was built not in accordance with the existent technical norms. The place was to be cleared of trees and bushes first. Alexei Armas also said a commission of Moldova’s Water Agency was to examine the place and decide how the reconstruction works will be performed. The break in the levee is 33 meters wide. The level of water is 4 meters and a half.
