The national rugby team of Moldova enters a new qualifying round of the Rugby Europe Championship, Trophy Division. On November 11, Moldova plays the Netherlands in Orhei, starting at 1:15pm.
The players are training in Cosnita village of Dubasari district under the guidance of the new coach, Constantin Vlad from Romania.
“I hope we will do well. The team is very disciplined and has a positive attitude,” Constantin Vlad, who earlier trained the national U-21 rugby team of Romania, stated for IPN.
“It won’t be easy. The Netherlands includes players who are involved in the championship of France. After a long pause, I could return to the national team to play this game,” said the president of the Moldovan Rugby Federation Alexei Cotruta.
After the match against the Netherlands, Moldova will have two more encounters – with Poland away on November 18 and with Switzerland at home on November 25.
