National road marking renewal will begin by the end of August, announced the head of the State Road Administration, Gheorghe Curmei.

The administration director said that the paint will be more resistant and will be reflective, compared to the current dye. The auction is underway.

Gheorghe Curmei added that local administrations, which receive financial resources from the Road Fund, are responsible for the management of road networks in their corresponding settlements.

The State Road Administration manages 6 thousand km of national roads.
