Marian Preda said, "Culture is a form of life through which a human community expresses its creative force." In light of recent events, culture has become not only an expression of strength, but also its source of growth. Being in isolation, we all felt the lack of spiritual nourishment, and a visit to the museum is the right thing to do for emotional recovery.
Traditionally, in September and October we celebrate European Heritage Days. In order to guide the visitor’s steps to the museum halls, the National Museum of Moldovan Art organizes, on September 21, the opening of the exhibition Acquisitions and Donations 2018-2020. The exhibition presents paintings, graphics, sculpture and decorative art.
