The National Library published a collection of heritage religious books for being viewed on the Internet. The exhibition consists of church books of the library’s collections printed at the most famous publishing centers starting with the 17th century.

Contacted by IPN for a comment, the Library’s director Elena Pintilei said that these books, collection religious documents, form part of the exhibit of religious books that was mounted in 2018 in cooperation with the Saint Dumitru Church that made a donation of church books.

Elena Pintilei expressed her regret at the fact that those who want to admire the collection, which is much larger than the one presented online, cannot be physically present inside the National Library owing to the pandemic situation in the country.
