The national judo team of Moldova went to train in Tokyo, Japan, for a period of 21 days, IPN reports.
Eight judokas will train under the guidance of the secondary coach of the national team Valeriu Duminica. These are: Denis Vieru (66 kg), Petru Pelivan, Ion Nacu, Bogdan Jizdan (all 73 kg), Dorin Gotonoaga, Nikon Zaboroshchuk (both 81 kg), Eugen Matveichuk and Alexandru Munteanu (both 90 kg).
During December 1-4, the Moldovan judokas will take part in the Grand Slam of Tokyo. This year, Eugen Matveichuk has become world cadet champion, while Dorin Gotonoaga recently won gold at the Junior European Judo Championships.
