The national futsal team of Moldova scored a 6-1 victory against Wales in the first match of the 2018 UEFA Futsal Championship qualifying competition, IPN reports.

The goals for Moldova were scored by Andrian Lascu, Cristian Obada (two), Sergiu Tacot, Andrei Negara, and Constantin Burdujel. In the evening of January 27, the team trained by Vladimir Vusatyi meets Greece, while on January 29 Moldova plays against San Marino.

The games are played in Wales. Only the group winner qualifies for the next stage of the competition.
