The national football team of Moldova climbed one spot in the FIFA rankings for this month. Moldova ranks 154th with 172 points, IPN reports.

According to the Moldovan Football Federation, among Moldova’s opponents in Group D, of the 2018 World Championship qualifying competition, the best position is taken by Austria – tenth. Wales ranks 17th, Ireland – 31st, Serbia – 55th, while Georgia – 120th.

The FIFA rankings are topped by Belgium, which is followed by Argentina and Spain.

The next rankings will be released on February 4.
