The National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER) postponed Wednesday’s meeting at which it was supposed to examine Moldovagaz's request to increase the natural gas charge by 40%, IPN reports.

The reason given is the large volume of information related to the price adjustment decision, which the Agency must examine. The new meeting was set for November 29, 10:00 a.m.

Moldovagaz requested the NAER to raise the natural gas charge by almost 40%, by 4 lei per cubic meter, starting with December 1. The request comes amid an increase in prices on the international market, the source said.
